Obtain record through RTI (Right to Information):
You can file an RTI application addressed to the Public Information Officer (PIO), Delhi Police, Central District, stating that you want a copy of the “pabandi nama” or any entry made against you.
Keep a record:
Keep a note of the date, time, and names (if known) of the policemen who made you sign, and a copy of any acknowledgment you receive from the police.
File a complaint if you were forced or threatened:
If the police coerced or humiliated you without reason, you can file an online complaint on the Delhi Police Public Grievance Portal
