Select “Character Certificate” service under the “Revenue” department.

Fill details and upload:

Aadhaar card

Passport-size photo

Address proof

Self-declaration / affidavit of good conduct

Pay nominal fee (₹10–₹50).

Submit and track status through the same portal.

Processing Time: Usually 7–15 working days (subject to police report).

Offline

Apply directly at your Tehsil office or local police station with:

Application form (available at Tehsil/Police station)

Aadhaar and proof of residence

2 photographs

Self-declaration affidavit of good conduct

You may be asked to appear for verification or provide two local references.
