Elder brother son refused to distribute the property Elder brother son refused to distribute the property

Property is in the name of Mr. Lalit(elder brother),
It was purchased in 1986 from the money earned through busines which was in the name of ramesh(younger brother). At that time it was agreed that the property is of both the brothers.
Now after the death of Lalit , his son refused to distribute the property
What should be the legal criteria for that?
