Fir under 498a

married on 20th April, 2025, They didnot asked any dowry at the time of marriage but post engagement inlaws and husband were indirectly asking me for money, when I said I want to break the marraige then they said sorry to my parents and continued the marraige. My parents had given 2 lacs FD bond on mya name.I was Gifted with 180 gms of gold to me Husband Was gifted with gold chain and ring of 20gms. Along with that house home articles were gifted which inlaws didnot liked. Hence Post marriage from 2nd day of marriage I was mentally and physically tortured by inlaws ,husband and his younger brother stating that I am beggar kid didnot bring any dowry. I hardly stayed 1 month along with husband and inlaws in his village, when I couldn't fulfill their demands they send me back to my parents home. I waited for my good days thinking they will release their mistakes with time but that didnot happen, later I filed a complain in mahilla ps on 25th July for counselling but husband didnot come and then my MIL filed a complain against me in state womens commissioner on 14th August.Counselling happened on 8th sept, I was directed by commissioner to continue my martial life with husband at Bangalore (husbands work location)and from 9th sept we both will be in trail period for 2 months , if things won't work within this period then couples can decide for divorce or can go legally. Things were normal for 4 days but suddenly husband started demanding dowry and the gold items which I had kept with me as provoked my by inlaws. I was brutally beaten and he tried to kill me. When I didn't agreed for dowry he kicked me at midnight 1 am I called police in the midnight to save myself and then returned back to my parents home, was admitted in govt hospital for 5 days due to assualt. After discharge, FIR was registered on 28th Sept 2025, under 498a against inlaws & husband, Investigation officer has already taken the dowry list and all the marriage proofs on the next day of FIR. Seems IO had taken bribe from husband side as she is intentionally delaying the investigation so that accused can take anticipatory bail. I have been repeatedly visiting polive station and asking for status of FIR, IO is giving some excuses like she had called inlaws and husband to appear in the ps but accused are not appearing.she have send a notice on 14th sept to inlaws residential address. In FIR accused persons were 4, that is husband, his younger brother and inlaws. I checked through my advocate that on 14th sept, inlaws and brother in law has applied individually with 3 different lawyers for anticipatory bail from highcourt (lawyers are also from highcourt) On 30th sept husband has applied for the same with 2 different lawyers. So total 5 lawyers has been hired for bail . I want to know why husband had hired 2 lawyers for himself whereas inlaws had hired individual lawyers for them. I went to sp office on 28th sep,25 for greviance but the lady constable didnot allow me to talk to sp rather than she took me to DSP where the DSP was very arrogant with me stating that bail has been granted, police has no rights to arrest in this case though husband has assaulted you for dowry, u will get justice in court if u r true after proper investigation. Police can't do anything if ur husband is not appearing to ps (husband and inlaws numbers are coming switched from the very next day of FIR as informed by IO) DSP was very arrogant and taking the side of husband and IO. when I asked why there is no progress in FIR despite having all proofs of dowry demands and having medical reports of assault, he said that I have no rights to know the status of my FIR, why IO will inform me that . Note- All my parents gifted gold I have taken from my inlaws after 1 month of marriage due to continuous fight for dowry and inlaws were not agreeing to handover when I said I ll file a case for return of stridhan then they gave all my gold items. Now inlaws have informed to IO that they don't have greediness towards dowry, cause they have handover all the gold items to me. But I have called recordings where husband had asked for return of gold items and withdraw my FD bond and handover to inlaws else he will file divorce just to escape from dowry case husband side is showcasing that if they are dowry minded why would they return the gold items. On the very next day again I spoke to sp where he mentioned that notice has been send to accused ,like wise 2 notices will be send if they won't appear charge sheet will be filed mentioning that all allegations by wife are true and then 2 times summon will be send by court if they failed then arrest warrant will be generated and then sp instructed IO to go to Bangalore for investigation till date nothing is in progress. Feeling helpless cause those are the culprits are roaming in open field without fear to law and seems police is supporting inlaws and husband indirectly.I want my chargesheet to be filed asp. My concern is why police didn't arrest inlaws and husband when bail was not granted? Did police intentionally delayed . I need advice what steps can I take now. I want to save my marriage at any cost cause i know my family situation and post divorce I cannot live alone, no interest in second marraige. Maintaince case is already been filed on 9th oct,25. What other cases can I filed against them so that they will be in trouble running to courts the way they have ruined my life for money. My home and inlaws home is 400kms away. When the summon will be send to them how will they manage to come this much distance?
