Divorce
I had a social marriage but yet not registered. 1.5 months after marriage I was forced to walk out of my husband's house due to domestic abuse and torture by husband and inlaws. What is the legal process I need to follow for a divorce? Due to mental trauma, I really don't want to continue with my husband and his family.

A.Hello,
You can always file a case against them for domestic violence and harassment against you.
You have to wait for a completion of one year of your marriage to file for divorce.
Hope that helps!
Regards.
