Then independent Durasti is allowed.
You only need Durasti for the purchased land, not the entire 24 acres.

Dharkast Podi is required in the event of Dharkast Land, which is government-granted land. For durasti registration of your individual share of 6 acr, you are required to submit a self-declaration for your plots in the Anchal (Revenue) Office. While you might apply for 6 acres, the overall phodi-durasti (sub-division and correction) for the parent 24-acre survey number needs resolution. Contact your local Anchal/Taluk Office or the Survey Department directly to understand their current procedure for phodi-durasti on large survey numbers with multiple owners or subdivisions; they'll guide whether it's better to file for all portions simultaneously or if they can process yours separately after establishing the main partition.
