Employer Marked Wrong Exit Date in EPFO Records Causing Dual Employment Issue. I resigned from Sterling Gtake eMobility Ltd. and completed handover and asset return. My actual last working day was 16-Oct-2024. The company recovered ₹31,765 towards unserved notice period, settling the notice issue. Despite this, the company wrongly extended my Date of Exit in EPFO and filed incorrect ECR showing NCP for Oct–Dec 2024, even though I was not in employment and had joined another company. I raised multiple complaints (EPFO, PM Portal, Labour Dept.). After escalation to the EPFO Officer, EPFO corrected my Date of Exit to 16-Oct-2024, confirming the company’s earlier filing was wrong. However, the company is still refusing to issue a corrected relieving/integrity letter and claims EPFO correction was without our consent. This is causing ongoing career and verification issues. I seek correction of service records and appropriate legal relief.
