I'm an Indian national. But I live in a foreign country as a temporary resident. I married in India. Now I seek divorce in the foreign country. What law would I be subjected to? The Indian law or the foreign law?

A.Hello,
Sir, as you have married in India, you will be subjected to Indian law for filing of divorce. You must file for divorce in India only.
Hope that helps!
Regards.
