Money taken by giving fake job promise

One person offered me a job and asked me to pay ₹40,000 in advance, with the remaining amount to be paid after I received the job. After that, he again asked for ₹30,000, clearly stating that this amount was needed for another person. He promised that if nothing worked out, he would repay 100% of the money. This happened in June 2025. Since then, he has kept saying that he will repay the full amount and asking me to wait. I paid the money via UPI, and I have recordings in which he promises to return the money. I filed a complaint with the cybercrime department and received a message saying that ₹560 has been put on hold and to kindly contact the nearby police station. If they are saying only ₹560 is on hold, how can I get my full money back? Is there any legal way to recover my money? I only have the person’s contact number, recordings, and screenshots. The person is from karnataka and I'm from Kerala. please advice
