Yes, an appeal may be worth considering, but not merely on the ground that there were no bills or that the witnesses were close relatives, since Family Courts can rely on oral evidence and marriage photographs based on probability.
However, if the contradictions in the witnesses’ statements are material especially regarding the quantity or entrustment of gold and the judgment does not properly analyze or reconcile those inconsistencies, or if there is no clear finding that 32 sovereigns were actually entrusted to the husband or his family, these can form valid grounds for appeal before the High Court, whereas minor discrepancies alone or a well-reasoned judgment would make an appeal weak and settlement a more practical option.
