Hello sir/madam, Sir one of my friend have filed a flase FIR stating that his house have been robbed and he have lost jewelry Worth 30 lakh.The police have found that no such robbery had happened.and the whole FIR was flase.he have been hiding from the police since 1 month. Now how can the police take action against him..or will the police just let him go by closing the case..can police take action against him for filling a false FIR.

A.Quash the FIR u/s 482 Crpc in the HC.

A.Go to the high court or file petition for quashing FIR under section 482 of crpc
