Clerk n peon says they don't find my case record.

Unnecessary delay in my case because clerk n peon don't find my case record. Is it possible they took money from the accused and not giving me my record? Why they keep telling me record is missing. What could be their malafied intention behind this ?

Dear Sir,

You or your advocate can file a written application before the court requesting directions to trace the record or reconstruct it if necessary. Courts have the power to order an internal enquiry and to direct the staff to locate the file within a fixed time. If the file is genuinely missing, the court can initiate a reconstruction process using copies available with parties and advocates.
