Dear Client,
If a resident is parking vehicles in a manner that obstructs the free flow of traffic, reduces visibility at a turn, or creates a safety hazard for pedestrians and motorists, such parking may amount to an unauthorized obstruction of a public road or common access area.
As a first step, you may raise the issue with the Resident Welfare Association (RWA), housing society, or colony management, if applicable, and request enforcement of parking rules. You may also submit a written complaint to the local municipal authority or traffic police, particularly if the parking obstructs traffic movement, emergency access, or visibility at the turn.
In the event that the improper parking has already resulted in an accident or injury, the incident should be documented with photographs, witness details, and any other relevant evidence. If negligence on the part of the vehicle owner contributed to the accident, appropriate legal remedies may be available depending on the facts and circumstances.
You may also request the traffic authorities to inspect the site and take necessary measures such as marking no-parking zones, installing warning signs, or enforcing traffic regulations to ensure public safety.
