Transfer of ownership Transfer of ownership

I want to transfer landed property in my single name to joint ownership in the names of myself &my wife. Details as follows:

I own a landed property with my residential house, in my single name at kottayam district(I had purchased the land in my single name in 1992 and constructed a house with my funds as well as my wife's funds. )
Now I want to change the ownership in the joint names of myself and my wife. What type of deed is required?
Whether the deed can be registered with the concerned sub registrar office.?
Whether the tax in future can be paid in our joint names?
Please advise

A.you can execute a sale/gift deed in name of your wife for the extent of the portion (50% or as you wish) you want to register in her name,
it will be registered by the sub-registrar/tehsildar,
Yes, tax can be paid by joint names,
