Unable to pay 9 unsecured personal loans
Unable to pay 9 unsecured personal loans due to market loss; paying home loan regularly. Need protection from harassment. Hello, I am based in Pune. I have a monthly salary of ₹47,000. I recently suffered a massive financial loss in options trading. > My monthly EMIs total ₹1,28,000. Out of this, ₹21,000 is a Home Loan, which I am paying regularly and on time to protect my property. The remaining ₹1,00,000 belongs to 9 unsecured lenders (Bajaj Finance, credit cards like HDFC/SBI, and fintech apps like Navi, Fibe, Stashfin). > I cannot afford to pay the unsecured loans anymore. Recovery agents have started calling heavily and threatening me. My salary account is in a completely different bank, so it is safe. 1. What immediate legal protection do I have against aggressive fintech recovery agents? > 2. How should I legally respond if they send Section 138/Section 25 notices for bounced auto-debits? > 3. Can I force these lenders into a One-Time Settlement (OTS) or Lok Adalat later? > Please advise for free. Thank you.
