A.Dear query seeker
The process to sell a house is as follow;
1. Once you have found a buyer then you negotiate the price, time and conditions to sell the house
2. Once agreed with the above terms and conditions then you you execute an Agreement to Sale which will have all the agreed clauses mentioned in writing, between the buyer and the seller.
3. You will have to use a stamp paper to execute the Agreement to Sale.
4. The Agreement to Sale need not be registered
5. The you will have to prepare the Sale Deed which will have elaborate details on the property, description, devolution of the property etc.
6. Once the Sale Deed is drafted then you get this deed registered at Sub-registrar's office by paying the stamp duty and registration fees.
7. Then you hand over the possession by handing over the keys and old sale deed and all property related papers to the buyer.
