ROC acceptance

If in a service agreement between a party and a private company in kolkata, the address of the party is incomplete as the flat number is missing and the correction was made by inserting the flat number by pen and initialed by both the parties. Then keeping the other parts of the agreement intact will it be accepted by the Registrar of companies under scrutiny?

While the final acceptance under scrutiny is entirely at the discretion of the Registrar of Companies (ROC) Kolkata officer, they generally don't accept such agreement because a handwritten flat number is a minor clerical correction that becomes completely legal when initialled by both parties. These initials prove mutual consent to the officer, confirming that the change was not made fraudulently. Since the rest of the document remains typed, intact, and untampered with, the overall agreement stays fully valid, you just need to ensure the scanned upload is highly legible so the handwritten text and initials are clearly visible to avoid any unnecessary resubmission queries, consult and advocate for more legal advice.
