DC Conversion of Grant Land attracts PTCL ACT DC Conversion of Grant Land attracts PTCL ACT

The Land grant was given to SC community member in 1940, His legal heirs sold the land in 2010 to Gen Category person, all the family members 4 generations signed the consent deed, the purchaser got the land converted to non agri land through DC Conversion and BDA also approved a Layout in the land. The Developer has developed then land and few houses have come up and have Khatas in their names from BBMP. If the Legal heirs of the Grantee approach court for reinstatement of the land under PTCL act, will it still be considered? Can the DC convert a grant land ?

A.The legal cannot claim the land unless some of them were left out. But in order to see whether government can reclaim it we need to peruse the documents carefully. Please visit and advocate with all the documents
