I WANT TO START A PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICE IN MOSHI, PUNE. MY QUERY IS CAN I NAME MY OFFICE AS "PUNE PRIVATE POLICE SERVICE"? AS THE NAME ITSELF CONTAIN THE WORD "POLICE", SOME ARE TELLING THAT I CAN NOT MENTION THIS WORD "POLICE". PLEASE SUGGEST IF I CAN DO IT OR NOT AS IT WILL BE A PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICE.
A.You cannot use state words like "Police" etc.

A.Try not to mention any word or phrase which refers to something which is already in position to do their own work
In my opinion you should avoid using the word police
As it is a pvt security service it will be not ethical to use a term like police which is nation specific
By the very term Pune pvt police service it will convey a notion that there are two types of police
One which works in the department and one with you this shall create a state of confusion

A.Yes, it may not be a good idea. In later stages, if you want to trademark this name, it will definitely be rejected.
