Death certificate

my question is about for my mother in law i haven't her death certificate and she's death was on 2009 and on that time there were not have official record so what I can do and where I can get her death certificate and I haven't also her register no after the death they give

Dear client,
Under Section 13(3) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, where a death was not registered within one year, delayed registration can be made on an order of the District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, or an Executive Magistrate authorised by the District Magistrate, after verification of the death and payment of the prescribed fee.
If the death occurred in West Bengal, you should first approach the Registrar of Births and Deaths of the Municipality/Corporation/Gram Panchayat where the death occurred and request a search of the old records; if no record exists, you can apply through the Janma-Mrityu Tathya system for Delayed Death Registration, which is an available government service.
