Will not registered Will not registered

Dear Sir, My grandfather has written a will in favour of my father but not registered due to his health issues and it was given to his friend. The will was written in the year 1992, and he expired in the year 1999. As I turned age 21, his friend gave the will now, but unfortunately its not registered. There was a maid in our house, after my grandfathers death, she without knowing to anyone, she created a identity cards with my grandfather's name as husband. Now she is trying to acquire our property. We have a will in which my grandmother's and my father's name has written, but not registered. Can we do anything for that. (my grandmother also died 5 years earlier to my grandfather's death).
