my succession was not registered during 1986. But tahasildar did a mutation registry in my favour as per my father's wish in 1986.My father died in 1998. My 4 sisters filed partition suit on june 2019. I am cultivating my agri land since from 1986 and I am getting holding certificate since from 1986 .Is law of limitation is applicable here sir ? if not how much portion I have to give it to them out of 8 acres.I am from karnataka. Please answer it sir.
A.Dear Sir,
Twelve years is the limitation to file a partition suit. Since Katha was changed in your name during the lifetime of your father with his consent so your sisters cannot claim a share.
