A bar council registered lawyer can become president of NGO, please describe term and condition regarding to establish of new NGO by a lawyer. Actually I am law graduate fresher and want to establish own NGO and also try for registere in Bar council.

A.Dear Sir,
If NGO is working for no benefit then you can become President of NGO and you should not receive any salary from NGO.

A.I do not think that you will be breaching any of the Advocate's Act provisions and Bar Council of India rules if you become President of an NGO. NGO itself being charitable in nature is quite acceptable entity but then you should ensure that you are not crossing any line under the garb of running an NGO.
