Are car roof luggage carrier legal as per motor act? I.e., the carrier which is installed on car roof to carry luggage bags & other bags when traveling long distance.
A.Dear Sir,
It is not legal for passenger car. Even otherwise it must be registered as commercial vehicle.

A.Car roof carrier are modifications to a car and do not have anything to do with the Motor Vehicles Act. Long Distance travel cars usually have a roof carrier. This is very normal.
