My mother has two brothers and my grandparents are also alive. Recently they made registration of the land on their names and their children saying that they don't have a sister. Is this legal if not how to proceed and how to claim my mother's right which she is denied of ..?

A.Dear Sir,
If it is your grandfather's self acquired property then they can give such property to anybody excluding your mother.

A.WOMEN PROPERTY RIGHTS
==============================
Your mother is entitled to get 1/3 share in the property or 1/4 if Grand parents are living now, there no doubt that your mother gets the property either thought mediation with her brothers or through CIVIL suite in the CIVIL court

First, a notice should be send to both brothers seeking share and saying that the registration of the sale in not valid and would be set aside by court.

When it comes to women property Rights following dates are very important and crucial

Year 1956
Year 1986
20-Dec-2004
Finally September 9th 2005

One of the Land mark Judgments in case of women Ancestral Property Partition is Danamma vs Amar

Keep those dates in mind while dealing with coparcenary/ancestral property Rights.
