friend Cheated by visa agent,

HI, my husband had referred a person for an opening, but unfortunately that was a fraud visa gave who got caught . It has been 1 year since this issue happened. There is FIR filed against that guy and case is going on. There is no money transaction that happened with us, it was just a referral. But now the guy has given a police complaint on August 16th ,that we have to pay him the money and police called and got it signed from my husband that he will repay it by Oct 4th. how do we get out of this issue?

A.Get it cancelled through Court by issuing directions. Statement or acknowledgement given before the police is not carrying full substantial value in the Court. Your complete documents need to be gone through.

If u have evidence on paper or otherwise then ask it is ok. Do one thing ask all proceeding from P.S.by RTI.

If your husband has not received any commission from that guy running fraud business then your husband need not to pay anything. However to avoid criminal prosecution, settle the matter as per your convenience.
