Legal Advice
Dear Sir,
I am a professional working in a company recently applied for a job opening overseas on LinkedIn website. Few days back one of my junior who used to work (in my earlier company in different city and not directly under me) 10 to 15 years back saw my request on the LinkedIn to that company and in response to that he wrote to this employer the following about me:
"Please don't select him. He was my manager and has a long history of abusing his juniors at work. He purposely used to keep us in office till 10-12 p.m everyday and would hardly offer any support.
Always shouting and trying to show that he is the expert in his field. There are many subordinates who left working under him because of his bad attitude."
The above what he wrote online to the employer was incorrect and full of lies and have no supporting to prove what he wrote it is just to defame my name within the group and the professionals.
Let me know how and in which way I can go in legal terms to address this issue once.
Looking forward to your advice.
Kind Regards,
You can make quash out of such false allegations. Get issue a legal notice and threaten him to file civil and criminal defamation cases against him if he do not agree to pay you compensation of Rs. 5,00,000/- immediately within next 15 days.
