Don't want child from first marriage to inherit property
4 years ago
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a son from my first marriage who is 2 years old. I have remarried. I want my property and assets to go to children from second marriage only. I don't want the child from first marriage to inherit my property. How can i do that ?
The only way i could think of that this is possible is to buy property under my second wife's name. Is there a legal way to exclude the child from first marriage from inheriting property ? can you suggest any other way ?
Thanks
A.Dear Sir,
Nobody can claim your self acquired property and you can safely executed Gift Deed or Release Deed in favour of second wife and her children to avoid claim of child of first wife.
