Can police withdraw chargesheet filed in court?

Purpose of hearing Hearing Before Charge
Can the police withdraw the above chargesheet from the court because the police have not submitted evidence of illegal encroachment as on crime date and instead have wrong survey reports submitted of future dates which is not relevant to illegal encroachment on crime date mentioned in FIR.

Once it is registered as criminal case the police cannot withdraw it however they can an application withdrawing from the prosecution on technical grounds upon permission given by the Government.

A.Yes, they can withdraw. If incident happen as you said in your question. Court Hears arguments, judge will decide based on the facts of the case, Judge may ask to file New chargesheet or revised one
