I have a new tenant .He want to business in my premises .My premises is not commercial.What to do ! Can my tenant apply for trade licence.if it is not commercial premises?What are the consequences?

A.Without landlords permission a tenant cannot indulge in any kind of commercial activity. Incase he indulges in any and you are made liable then you are entitled for all the damages and compensation.

A.If the premises in not commercial in nature then get it changed so that he can do business from there. If that is not done then the Municipality can raid any day and penalize both him and you.
