how can i defend myself as my sister petition against me and my brother for not giving the share of parental property as it is wrongfully claim that we are not interested to giving her share. as we brother and sister held one meeting where we decided whether we mutually divided the property or through court. but after that she could not come forward for another meeting. now how can i defend myself please tell immedietly

A.Dear Sir,
To be frank partition suits will be decided by the Trial Court after 3-4 years then you have a chance to prefer appeal before Higher Courts if judgment is against you and thus you can bargain more and more time.

A.If property are ancestral then all brother and sister are eligible for equal rights

A.From the details of the case posted by you it transpires that you and your brother are ready to give your sister her share in the ancestral property. If that be so file a petition to the effect in the Court where the case has been filed by your sister and get the property partitioned on consent and the court will pass judgment, order and decree to that effect.
