Termination from PSB

I am an award staff of a public sector bank. I joined bank one-year ago. Meanwhile I was put into Gold Loan department for sometimes. We had our authorized gold appraiser. On basis of his certificate I recommended Gold Loans. There was no proper training of gold checking. But I was not aware that it was my responsibility to check purity of gold loans. Now the golds are found to spurious and the goldsmith is absconded for some months. Enquiry is going on this matter. Can bank terminate or suspend me on this ground?

A.Police do an investigation. Then only, If they add your Name in Accused, then Bank can take action like Suspend / Removal. And also Not followed the duty also a good reason. But you are only 1 service , You may ask Court to consider, if you are innocent.
