I was married in 2014 and the marriage was very short lived for precisely 5 months. After going through terrible physical and mental abuse my husband dumps me at my parents place stating I’ll pick you after a week. However after a week he didn’t pick my calls nor came home. I go to my marital home but for hours the door was shut and I did this for few days and my parents then reached out to his and they didn’t bother to involve themselves in this matter for almost one year this issue was not sorted. Then I took a decision to take divorce as it was pointless to be in that relationship. My petition was based on cruelty and it failed miserably in the family court due to lack of evidence. I went ahead and filed an appeal for the same in the high court it’s been two years but the case has not progressed because the court notice is not getting served and when I personally called him he is not giving any clarity of divorce and torturing me mentally for almost 4 years now. What is the solution? Can I file any complaint against him now?
