House maintenance cost House maintenance cost

Dear Team/Sir/ Madam,
Me and my landlord need some advice as there has been some confit in our understanding of the house maintenance part. The conflict happened when Recently I asked my landlord to sign the rent slip for me, for tax declaration purpose. They mentioned showing only 16,300 as rent, wherein the rent agreement its declared 18500.

They have an understanding that the rent is only 16300 and they pay the rest of the amount on our behalf to the society maintenance. Can you help us understand, as I disagree with this statement to show only 16,300 as rent and not 18,500 which is mentioned in the rent agreement

Also, its mentioned in the rent agreement i.e. Maintenance Charges: That the all outgoings including all rates, taxes, levies, assessment, maintenance charges, non occupancy charges, etc. in respect of the said premises shall be paid by the Licensor.

Note: We have a registered agreement
