My sister husband has filed divorce against ,my sister doesn't want that,what legal steps can we take now
A.If your sister doesn`t consent, he will not get divorce without proving good grounds.

A.In the same court where he has filed for divorce, you engage a lwayer and oppose divorce. No provision to take a stay order from high Court for proceedings in family Court.

A.Divorce filed under which section ? If your sister doesn't wants let her contest the case.

A.You have to file Contested Divorce petition and inform court that you are not agreeing divorce.

A.On what grounds it has been filed? Plz contest the divorce proceedings well and to the fullest. Divorce is not easily granted if other side opposes the same. Your sis should also demand monetary compensation
