Wife is severe epileptic and was under supervision of Max Hospital Dehradun till delivery of child. All medical tests and investigation done during pregnancy but child was born with lissencephaly/west syndrome a serious brain related problem which has no treatment and the symptoms were observed after one year when child was crying excessively for 5hours continuously. The child 2years 6months is on Omnacortel Forte a steroid and Valvaparin syrup. Is birth of child with this disease a part of medical negligence of hospital?
