Respected Sir,
I have a question regarding my divorce file. I am married since 6years. My wife charged my with 498 case along with alumony case. My question is what should i do next to get a result of divorce or what would be the decision of honorable magistrate regarding this matter, as i dont want to continue this marraige??
Sir please help me.

A.1. try to settle the matter amicably with your wife involving elders/relatives/friends etc and go for Mutual Consent Divorce which will be decided in 6-18 months, and you both will be free to live life with your wish,
don't forget to draft an MOU before approaching Mutual Divorce, which is the most essential and important part of a Divorce case,
some basic points to keep in mind and put in writing through an MOU before filing the petition for mutual consent divorce are custody of kids, distribution of assets (movable/immovable), quash/withdraw of pending litigation if any, Maintenance (present/future), Alimony, mode and time of making the payment, streedhan, future litigation, etc.
2.decision of the 498a case cannot be presumed without going through the case file deeply,

A.Try to solve it amicable. If both are ready to divorce then file mutual consent by divorce petition you will get divorce in just six months

A.If divorce case is filed pursue it well and get the decree. Also contest 498 case well through good Lawyer and with sufficient defence so as the same with alimony matter. You will have to bring material before the Court why alimony should not be granted. Plz contact through Vidhikarya for further elaboration
