INDUSTRIAL DISPUTE ACT APPLIES TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES OR NOT PROVIDE NOTIFICATIONS

It depends upon circulars of the State Government. For example in Karnataka State such companies are exempted.

A.Dear client,
ID Act is applicable to , in mist of the cases arising out of Labour laws, now Labour laws applicable to tose people who are not doing managerial or clerkial work, or their payment Basic Salary +DA , as per regional / local states Minimum Wages Act , covered ESI, PF -compulsory , not on option of employee or employer.
Hence, those case arising out of labour disputes and has been transferred to ID Court, Tribunal can only be covered not IT companies- Exception eg shoes basic salaries and nature of work covered under mini.wages act.
