Gratuity

I have taught in an institution from 1st October 2014 till 31st July 2019. The institution is statutory institute in 2006 by an Act of the Indian Parliament - wanted to know my eligibility for gratuity and thereafter provide relevant documents. It was 5 working days & I availed Maternity leave as per rules for exact 6 months (From 25th May 2015 to 25th Nov 2015)

A.you had worked for 4 years and 10 months in the institution and you are eligible to claim gratuity subject to other conditions

A.Dear Sir,
You may apply for such gratuity as Supreme Court says that it is not charity which the employer is paying, if rejected you may fight in the High Court or Service Tribunal.
