i have filed a criminal case section 354d.506,509,446 in 2016. Now i want to withdraw it. Please advise the step. This lodged as STATE versus accused name in patiala house court.

A.Dear Sir,
If it is compoundable then it can be compromised otherwise you have to examine yourself and turn hostile or ask the accused to approach High Court where you can file an affidavit saying that you have no objection to close the criminal case.

A.if any settlement has been arrived between you and the accused, then the FIR can be quashed,
