Compensation in lieu of Notice period

My current company asked me to "let go" and mentioned to leave company by end of Jan. They also said I will be paid 3 months compensation in lieu of Notice period by end of Feb. Just wanted to know legally, in how much time, I should get the disbursement of above mentioned compensation (in lieu)?

A.Dear client,
If they have intimated earlier by 3mths. With compensation then you are supposed receive this said amount within 45 days from the date of leaving. Keep all docs prior to leave, even any confirmation for 3mths compensation by Email. It would ay help in adverse.
