Online data entry job
Few days back I have applied for Work from home job through online platform and I got return Call from them. They've told me that they'll give Rs.15 per form and a target of 1000 forms in 10 days.If I failed to complete the work within the duration or If I didn't meet the accuracy of work i.e., 900 forms should be correct out of 1000 forms they've provided me, I should pay them Rs.4000 . They've also sent me the bond /agreement paper through mail and a button through which I will get OTP if clicked and I entered the OTP recieved in the resulting form, though which I have accepted that agreement and signed it digitally. I've completed the work and submitted successfully and they gave me report like I have failed to meet the accuracy and I need to pay the amount Rs.4000 to them. They gave me 4 hours time and asking me pay or they are going to take legal action which results in paying Rs.15000 and they'll make me into the blacklist which effects my credit score and future financial issues. What should I do now?Should I pay the money or is there any alternative that I can work with?
I have noticed that there few complaints against them in other sites stating they're fraud .I've also noticed that they don't have website. What if they take any legal action against me?
This is a clear case of online scam. I guess its a group of people trying to fraud and fool people. No need to pay any money to them. Immediately go to the local police station and narrate the entire story. Moreover stop contacting them.
Thank you
You may lodge police complaint or put the matter in social channels.

This is a classic case of an online data entry form scam (which is very rampant these days) wherein they get the job done from people and don't pay them and if a person asks about the payment, then they threaten with a legal action.
DO NOT pay any money as you can be rest assured that no legal action will be taken against you. As a preventive measure also submit an application to the local police station stating that these companies are trying to extort money illegally from you. Please remember to take the sign and seal of receipt from that Police station so that you are legally protected in the future.

I advise you to send a mail stating you can't do the work due to some reason, and if they still made any demand for money then make a police complaint against the company for extortion of money and mental harassment.
no need to make any payment to them.
