Drunkard threatening to sue me for his self accident on my stationary car.

I parked my car at the side of the road and was talking to my friend. A drunkard riding his two-wheeler, came from behind and banged his vehicle on the rear side of my car. The car suffered a dent and the two-wheeler also suffered some minor damages. Soon after, the fellow started arguing that because I was reversing the car without warning the accident took place which is not true. Since I wanted to avoid confrontation with a drunkard I paid him Rs.500 and went home. The drunkard somehow found out my home and is now threatening to sue me if I did not give him a sizable amount. No one was injured in the accident. Kindly advise me as to what I must do in this situation.
