As per the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 (Mah. Act No. LXI of 2017) every employee is entitled for 8 paid festival holidays(including 26-Jan,1-May, 15-Aug & 2-Oct). Is it mandatory for big IT companies to comply with this rule?
