Not getting NOC from old Advocate Not getting NOC from old Advocate

Last month I've met an advocate as am facing some problems in partitioning the ancestry property with My family... So My advocate has sent a legal notice to the opposite parties and we got reply notice for our notice but now I want to get away I mean I want to stay away from this business because I've some pressure so i said the same with my advocate but he is asking a hefty amount of 2 lakhs for giving NOC. Initially I've paid 30K...... We haven't approached court yet and we haven't filed a suit in the court of law. The advocate just sent only one notice to our opposite party but now i want to close all this... but my advocate is asking me to pay 2lakhs for it... Am not in a position to pay that huge amount..

Please suggest Me to overcome this problem and how to get NOC from him

A.Dear Sir,
Since your advocate has not filed any VAkalat/Power in any Court as such you need not seek any NOC from him. He was appointed by you only for issuing notice. That part of work already over. Nothing to worry.
