In India, the legal age for adoption is 18 years. However, there is no upper age limit for adoption, and it is possible for adults to be adopted if both the adopter and the adopted person consent to the adoption.
If the girl you mentioned is above the age of 18 and is willing to be adopted by your parents, they can file a petition for adoption under the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956. The Act provides for the adoption of children as well as adults, provided certain conditions are met.

Hi client,
You have a right in all the things that your adoptive parents have left behind. Since all your documents already bears their name, it itself is a proof of the same, provided that you have abided all the clause mentioned under the act of Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Case. If any dispute offers in that case you can file a suit in the competent court of jurisdiction.
Thanks and Regards
