A. You should have paid the money in cheque rather than in cash. No need to worry. Tell him to keep it in showcase. If you so concerned you may send a legal notice through a lawyer stating that he is not returning the stamp paper and cheque and that you have already paid him the money.

A. As you have already sent legal notice you should have filed a case of 138, but now you can file a summary suit for the same. You can file a criminal case now also and the charges would vary from Advocate to Advocate and city where your property is located.

A. Firstly you may approach a good local lawyer to send a legal notice. If he fails to make the payment within 30 days of receiving the notice you may immediately file 138 cheque bounce case against him.

A. He can file 138 NI ACT case but he have to prove legal liability and you can defend it. You have to prove that it's false case

If we send legal notice from advocate to default party about cheque bounce case in that notice by mistake we mention wrong check number then that notice is valid or not valid

A. u can reappeal in court for the wrong judgement by the current court & challenge the order of lower court. No need to go ahead with settlement process. Appraoch a proper & good lawyer..
