is there any time limit for use of non judicial stamp paper?


A. Hi Pradeep,

As per Section 54 of the Indian Stamp Act, if you do not have any immediate use of a stamp paper, then you can deposit it back to the collector within six months from the date of purchase and take back your money as a refund after deduction of 10 paise per rupee.

was it in cash or banking... talk to him, try to negotiate as he has right to file a case against you to recover the dues and you may end up paying more than the loan amount along with interest and lawyer fees.

You have not mentioned the actual position of suit and what is status of suit and if you want to decide your suit expeditiously then you brings all requisites papers i.e. complete order sheet, memo of suit and statement if any application 6C and other from the lower court and filed petition before the Hon'ble High Court for expedite the said suit and the Hon'ble High Court may fixed the time for disposal of said suit within stipulated time limit as fixed.
