Dear sir me kisi coaching institute me pichle 2-3 mahine se tuition ja rah hu.mene institute ko rs-9000/- deposit karwa diye he.abhi ek din class me hum students need subject teachers see ek do question doubt puchne see institute ki taraf se and subject teacher dono need bola ki jisko padna he pado ny to side apne Ghar jao out gate se abhi aap logo ki ek bi baat ny Suni jaygi .apne fees dedi he ab hum Jese bolenge and padayenge vese hi apko padna hoga .enke kilaf legal action Kya Lena chaye pls help us

I am currently out of country. I sold my bike in Feb 2018 & purchaser promised to complete the transfer formalities. However, last week I got traffic police memo in my name & address for that sold bike & I came to know that transfer of bike is yet not done. I tried to talk with purchaser but he seem not serious in transfer of ownership to his name. What option do I have now being not available in India.

A. Dear Sir, Depending upon the offense the action will follows. In most of the cases unless there is a death you can admit the guilt through your advocate in India and pay some fine and close the matter.

I have given my house hold goods for door to door delivery in 2013 from delhi to bangalore using Karnataka packers and movers. The goods were suppose to be delivered in nov 2018 and was stored by karnataka packers and movers with Link packers and movers in bangalore. As per the quotation, monthly storage charges s Rs 1500, but karnataka packers and movers asked mr to pay Rs 2500 per month, which I have paid since I was abroad. In nov 2018 i requested karnataka packers and movers to return my goods and they did not do that as promised. After waiting for a week, since I had to go back on work, I postponed to take the goods. Again on 30th april 2018, again I requested to deliver the goods on 27th may. Karnataka packers and movers asked me to approach Link packers and movers and link asked me to pay Rs 2,15, 000 which is @ Rs 5000 per month for the whole period. Since 28th may every day I am visiting Link packers and movers and calling karnataka packers and movers and no solution. The local police is also not accepting my FIR since link packerd and movers is politically influencial I would like to claim damages and compensation for harrassment from karnataka packers and movers as well as link. Can I find a lawyer who can support and get paid on success fee? I am ready to pay 25% of the amount I receive as compensation. Storage was placed with Jirender, Link packers and movers by karnataka packers and movers. I have been requesting to deliver the goods since nov 2018 and link packers and movers are refusing to deliver and asking for additional Rs 2, 15, 000

A. Dear Sir, Get issue a legal notice and even you can move police by filing a complaint. If you approach consumer forum or civil court you will get huge compensation. you may also approach the RTO cancel their license as their activities are unprofessional.

I have booked one bus ticket from hyderabad to kochi. I reahed before 30 minutes. The boarding time is 2pm. On 11 i call to makemytrip and confirmed the boarding point. On 1.45 pm, 2pm, 2.30 pm. I called makemytrip. They told me bus is late the driver will call and pick up me. No one came and no one call me. After 5pm. Makemytrip call me and told that i miss the bus. I can't book another bus or flight in last minute. I lost valuable day in life. Because not reaching kochi on sunday. They mske me a big losses. I booked the ticket one month before. So i want the compensation of 1 lakh. I need to file a case against makemytrip. Can i get 1 lakh? What is the maximum amount i can ask? In which state i will file the case. My place is kochi. I am working in hyderabad.

A. Send a legal notice and also you can file a consumer case demanding huge amount of compensation. Thanks

15 April 2019 I did the order from "www.p-store.in" also knows as "letsshop". that has cost 25574 rupees, the product was herbal medicine, they did promise to deliver within a week. but till now he is not giving any update about delivery or refund of money. I did try to contact many times by my phone number (8791660350, 9315802897) he did not pick my phone and continuously I have pinged him on WhatsApp. He is seeing the message but not replying from last 2 weeks. I have said I don't need the product, I need to return my money. he has deleted website when I saw on 11 May 2019. I have Bank Account Detail of Supplier, Also Acknowledge ment of payment through email and whatsapp chat. Please suggest what should i do to get return money. I have given application in the police station but i did not see positive response.

Here is how you can get justice Not futile to pursue online vendors who fail to deliver promised goods and services. Chitra Vittal from Bangalore wins out-of-court settlement from online vendor of cakes Far too many of us have felt cheated by online vendors but have let it go because of the apparent futility of fighting for our rights. However, Chitra Vittal’s story tells us that it is indeed possible to win out-of-court settlements with online vendors with the help of consumer rights organizations like the International Consumer Rights Protection Council (ICRPC). Chitra Vittal from Bangalore ordered a combo package including cake from Flowers n Cakes to India, an online florist and gift store that guarantees same day delivery and the “delivery of fresh products – always.”Flowers n Cakes to India failed to deliver the product on the specified day, and when they finally did deliver it the next day, the cake was “smashed up, made of cheap wine” and of a quality that was entirely unacceptable to the customer. When Ms Vittal attempted to complain about the non-delivery of the product on the scheduled day, she found that the customer care numbers displayed on the website were not attended. She managed to find contact details of their Hyderabad-based sub-vendor, only to be told that they had only received their orders from Flowers n Cakes to India the morning after the scheduled date. Five days later, Ms Vittal complained about the delayed delivery of a substandard product over a chat conversation with the company representative, Rahul, who, according to her was rude and paid no heed to her complaints. Ms Vittal then approached Arun Saxena, President of ICRPC, which runs a consumer helpline. Mr Saxena sent an email to the vendor on behalf of Ms Vittal, informing them that they had conducted Unfair Trade Practices under Section 2 (1) (r) of the Consumer Protection Act. If the vendor did not refund the full amount to Ms Vittal and pay Rs50,000 as compensation for her losses, harassment and inconvenience, Mr Saxena said, severe action would be initiated against them, seeking higher compensation of Rs1 lakh with the legal costs. What ensued was a series of emails exchanged among Mr Saxena, Ms Vittal and Flowers n Cakes to India, where the vendor attempted to seek refuge in its disclaimer against “unavoidable delays”. Ms Vittal felt that the vendors entirely ignored the accusation of no-response to complaints and were repeatedly rude to her. The emails reveal comments from the vendor to the tune of “If she doesn’t understand simple English language then it’s not our responsibility” and “she is the only one who we can call Fake”. When Mr Saxena finally said that the matter was headed to consumer court and they would have to appear in person to justify their position, Flowers n Cakes to India beat a hasty retreat. With a sudden and radical change of tone, it sent a politely apologetic email to Ms Vittal, with the promise of a full refund on the same day. On Nov 2015 we have a got electricity bill of 50,000 Rs of a Month on a meter of 2 KW, which is due to Meter Jumping, also written accepted by JE, UPPCL Officer . And then for 2 years we have been moving around all UPPCL offices to solve the case but till today no resolution. We have also filed a case in consumer court but due to no judge availability or sometimes judge simply extends the date. The other party has no solid reason to show in court and case is on our side but looks like judge is also compromised. I have been using electricity meter for 10 years at my home. But never seen a month bill greater than 1000 Rs And suddenly I got a bill of a single month is 50,000 Rs. / 6750 Units. As per UPPCL system, on meter of 2 KW max possible bill in a month can be of 3,000 Unit so the bill is divided into 3 months and sum up-to 50,000 Rs. Now they have partially corrected the bill based on some god knows factors which is amounting to around 19000 which is still incorrect. Kindly help, what can I do ?

I did my PGDM from Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi. In the advertisements as well as admission letter, we were told that the institute is accredited by the AIU, but that is not the case; and now i am unable to pursue a PhD because of the same . I have paid a fee of around Rs. 8 lakh for the PGDM course. What action can be taken against the institute

A. It should be your responsibility to check the institute before getting the admission. However, you can send a legal notice to the College Authorities and if they do not comply you can file a suit in the designated court having jurisdiction. In a worst case scenario you have an option to file a writ petition for the loss of studies due to falsified advertisement and misrepresentation of facts. Thanks.

Hello. I've purchased a new Skoda Superb from JMD, in September 2017. There was a lot of time gap between the temporary registration n the delivery of the vehicle. I was not allowed to inspect the vehicle before the delivery. Only after the complete documentation was I able to view it, and it was in a dirty condition. Then within a month it's paint started forming bubbles and then they would burst and the paint would start peeling off. First the company was saying that the paint is peeling due to external influences, but then after showing them the pics and bubbles itself did they agree that it is the problem of the paint. Now the car has been repainted on the various problem spots for about 10 to 11 times. But they are not agreeing that it is the fault of the company, but say that they are repainting it in their goodwill. They had not done any documentation of the repairs for the first six months. It's what you would hardly call a new car now! Kindly advise what action should be now taken. Thanks.

Dear Sir/Madam, I, Arjun Singh (Father of Sahil Singh), became a client for you on 31.03.2019, and I have paid (for 10th trial classes) Rs.4000 & Rs.6000 fee on 01.04.2019 with receipts no.002217 & 002218, And we had hardly taken 1-2 classes or one week post the informed to you (Scholars Academy) over the phone and by messages that student (Sahil) isn’t satisfied. (Have been constantly in touch with Academy and requesting you to refund my hard-earned money spent on 10th class coaching. You agreed to 100% refund my money and promised if similar kind of problem arises again, you will take care of the same. And after some time (post 1- 2day) you denied refunding my money. To my surprise, post one week I went to the Scholar’s Academy on 07.04.2019 for refund, but no response in the same from your end. I approached to the academy again on 13.04.2019 for the same refunds. After doing follow up couple of times, you are now refusing to 100% refund (which you earlier promised). Still now no action is taken from your end to resolve my issue, and now I am being harassed and facing lot of problems with you and your team. In your words: “We have a policy also that the child can take demo for a weeks’ time and in that time if he isn't satisfied then the money deposited is refunded back”. This was not mentioned at that time and otherwise also we have still not taken full demo classes as demo chemistry class was still pending which you have also agreed in your mail. So basically, till all demo classes don’t get over we can take the refund as per you now you did not complete the demo classes within a weeks’ time clearly means till the demo classes don’t get completed we can take a refund. We informed you via message on 11/4/2019 that we will not be continuing before the demo classes were finished, and my child did not come for the chemistry demo class which was on 13/4/2019 as we had already decided not to continue. The reason to not continue as per you is change of mindset but that does not hold any significance, as reason for not continuing has nothing to do with your policy. But for your knowledge we were not satisfied with the quality of teaching, this is the reason we do not want to continue. Now I want to close this issue and don't require your service in this matter. I hereby request you to refund my hard-earned money (full fee Rs. 10000) that I paid. Thanks for co-operation. Your truly,
