You will be liable if it is established that you or the rider were at fault, or if he did not possess necessary qualifications to ride legally.
This claim will be sorted in the Motor Vehicles Accidents Claim Tribunal.

Can High Court order protection to private individuals if they face threat to life and property. The police is 100% with the criminals. What is the procedure?

A. You can file a petition under article 226/227 for police protection in the high court. But, first, approach senior officials and ask for proper support.
